Kristotsava 2007

The Karnataka Mission Congress took off on Diwali Festival on 8th November with the enlightening and enthusing message "No power can stop the influence of Jesus Story on the whole world by the newly-appointed Cardinal Oswald Gracias, Archbishop of Bombay.The vocation of every Christian is to bravely witness to Christ, who is the living story of a loving God was the essence of the inaugural message of Archbishop Oswald Cardinal Gracias, who declared the Karnataka Mission Congress open. Jesus belongs to the whole universe and he is not to be reserved to the Church alone.

Archbishop Bernard Moras welcomed his Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias, the Chief Celebrant and the delegates from all the 11 dioceses.In the Keynote address, the Bishop of Gulbarga Robert Miranda very skillfully presented the state of Karnataka with its people, culture, religion and the story of the Jesus being told and retold by the Church in Karnataka.
